What you'll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker. For this role, you must have experience in looking after clients with peg feed. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is a young adult who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care, you will also be required to drive the client's vehicle as he has a mobility car.
Qualifications
What you'll need
Experience in complex care would be extremely advantageous, especially in the following:
* PEG feeding
* Medication administration
* Moving & Handling Equipment
* Knowledge of eye gaze technology
