Our Corby site has an exciting opportunity for a Shift Supervisor to join our Warehouse team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Salary: £26,915 per annum plus 30% shift allowance.

Working hours: Continental shifts, 10pm-10am:

* Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Shift Manager in ensuring the handling and dispatch of all customer products is achieved to optimal levels of cost and efficiency through effective supervision and control of staff and resources.

Key Duties of a Shift Supervisor:

* Ensure all products meet customer/clients specifications and quantities, and are picked/packed and dispatched to meet required Service Level Agreement standards.
* Handle all products in accordance with the highest standards of Health and Safety.
* Achieve optimum stock integrity through understanding of warehouse processes and procedures.
* Supervise, guide, support, instruct, and train staff within areas of responsibility.
* Conduct regular 1-2-1s and reviews with colleagues as part of the performance management cycle.
* Maintain accurate records of activities as required under Site Operating Procedures.
* Ensure all processes, daily checks, defect reporting, training, and MHE operations comply with company and legislative Health and Safety requirements.
* Support the business's commercial objectives through continual review.
* Perform any other duties reasonably requested by the site management team.

Qualifications:

* Thorough understanding of all warehouse areas.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience managing teams in a warehouse/production environment.
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
* Enthusiastic, driven, and proactive attitude.
* Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level or higher.
