Job Description
* Teach engaging KS3KS4 D&T lessons (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics/Engineering).
* Plan, deliver and assess in line with the National Curriculum and exam specs (GCSE).
* Use CAD/CAM where appropriate (e.g., 2D Design/Fusion 360/laser cutter).
* Maintain a safe, well-organised workshop and uphold H&S procedures.
* Track progress, provide timely feedback, and contribute to department improvement.
* Support enrichment (clubs/interventions) and attend parents evenings as required.
What youll need
* QTS/QTLS (ECTs welcome) and strong classroom management.
* Recent D&T teaching experience at KS3KS4.
* Up-to-date knowledge of GCSE assessment.
* Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply) and two references.
