To organise time, equipment and staff to deliver nursing care. Delegate and assign activities and tasks appropriately. To act as an advocate for the patient/client ensuring the provision of appropriate information and support services. To identify incidences of concern to either patients or staff and deal effectively with the consequences, completing appropriate documentation To develop in conjunction with other team members and the manager, new ideas to improve the quality of care and to encourage contribution of other members of the team To participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge, information and supporting colleagues to promote a cohesive team To be aware of unit resource issues and participate in unit stock control To carry our pre and post clinic set up checks.
