We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our Staffing Bank. This role will support our Pharmacy Team at our Fylde Coast Hospital based in Blackpool.
Spire Fylde Coast Hospital is based in the seaside town of Blackpool. We have 3 operating theatres undertaking a wide range of procedures in Orthopaedics, ENT, Spines, Ophthalmic, Urology, Vascular, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Plastics and General Surgery. Your role will be to assist in the cleaning and upkeep of wards, offices and shared spaces throughout the hospital.
Duties and responsibilities;
1. To provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements.
2. To provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost effective use of medicines.
3. To advise the hospital and its departments on the safe management of medicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
4. To promote a multidisciplinary, patient focused approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service
Who we're looking for
5. Be GPHC registered - your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions
6. Have a minimum of 2 years, post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level
7. Clinical diploma desirable
8. Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care
