We’re working with a respected specialist education provider that delivers personalised learning programmes for young people aged 14–19 with a range of complex needs and behaviours. Every programme is built around the individual learner, with a focus on supporting both academic and vocational progress. The aim is to equip each student with the skills and confidence to transition successfully into further education, apprenticeships, or employment. We’re currently looking for a passionate and experienced Functional Skills Teacher to join this dedicated team and help learners achieve their full potential. This role is a permanet part time role working 18.5 hours per week. About the Role As a Functional Skills Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons in Maths, English, and Digital Functional Skills from Entry Level to Level 2. The role is much more than classroom teaching — it’s about creating an inclusive, aspirational learning environment where every learner is seen, supported, and challenged to succeed. You’ll be working within a supportive and specialist team who are committed to making a lasting difference for students who have struggled in mainstream settings.
