About the Job:
Working as a trusted partner to the Business Unit Leader, you will lead all financial aspects of the business unit, overseeing financial operations, forecasting, compliance, and reporting. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the BU’s financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence and commercial insight.
Duties will include:
1. Leading the quarterly forecasting cycle, delivering accurate and timely insights within a 5% variance tolerance
2. Producing clear, concise performance analysis with commentary for key stakeholders and senior leadership
3. Identifying financial risks and operational improvement opportunities, following through on execution
4. Collaborating across functions to ensure commercial contract terms comply with group policy
5. Managing all internal legal coordination and liaising with Group Legal as needed
6. Overseeing core finance operations including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, and month-end close
7. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, tax and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
8. Supporting internal and external audits, driving improvements in controls and systems
9. Leading and developing the finance team, embedding a culture of growth, accountability, and succession planning
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with strong IFRS knowledge, particularly IFRS 15/ASC606. You’ll bring a hands-on approach, exceptional Excel skills, and experience with systems such as NetSuite, SAP BPC, or Blackline. A strong communicator and strategic thinker, you’ll be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-entity, multi-currency environment, ideally with experience in the software or telecommunications sector.
