Job Description
Cambridge City Council is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Senior Project Officer to deliver high-performing, client-focused case management for the Rent Regulation Project.
Key Responsibilities
 * Deliver a customer-focused, complex and time-critical project for the Rent Regulation Project.
 * Support the Rent Regulations Customer Project Manager to achieve corporate objectives and overall success.
 * Influence operational performance, strategic planning and effective allocation of resources by working directly with the project manager and other stakeholders.
About You
 * Degree level education or equivalent experience in project management or project support.
 * Excellent analytical ability, reconciliation skills and advanced level Excel proficiency.
 * Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to deal with highly sensitive information.
 * Experience in local government and familiarity with the MRI Housing Enterprise system.

Hours
Full‑time, 37 hours per week.
Working Pattern
Monday – Thursday 9.00‑5.30, Friday 9.00‑5.00.
Contract
Fixed Term / Secondment – 12 months.
Salary
£37,280 - £41,771 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part time.
Location
Hybrid – Mandella House.
