The Pendulum Hotel and Manchester Conference Centre is a bustling, conference-driven destination located in the heart of the city. With a strong focus on high-quality service, seamless events, and warm hospitality, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support our dynamic F&B operations.
About the Role As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a hands-on role in delivering outstanding service across our bars, restaurant, meeting spaces, and large conferencing facilities. You will support the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily running of the department, ensuring our guests receive the high standards were known for.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in hospitality who is ready to take the next step into management.
What Youll Do Support the management of all food and beverage operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee conference and event catering, working closely with the events team to deliver smooth, professional service.
Lead, motivate, and train the F&B team to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
Assist with rota planning, stock control, ordering, and cost management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Help drive revenue through effective upselling and operational efficiency.
What Were Looking For Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leader role within hospitality.
Strong understanding of conference and events service.
A hands-on, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work flexibly and manage a busy, fast-paced environment.
A passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
