YOUR MISSION
* Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective short and long-term planning, expense control, sales, and service.
* Guarantee consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
* Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with consumers, selling, and coaching employees.
* Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with the recruitment, training, development, and succession planning of high-performing, results-driven Associates.
* Accountable for payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while providing excellent customer service.
* Manage and monitor Loss Prevention education and awareness programs.
* Ensure Loss Prevention and Operational compliance within the store.
* Manage and achieve or exceed all Inventory and Shrink goals.
* Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store and/or the Assistant Store Manager.
* Participate in new store openings and/or closings; travel may be required.
* Accurately process sales, exchanges, and refunds at the cash desk, ensuring proper operation of the POS system, handling tender forms accurately, and applying discounts when applicable. Process employee transactions while adhering to the Associate Discount Policy & Procedure.
* Ensure all Visual Guidelines are executed and maintained, and the visual presentation of the Store meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
* Maintain the physical condition of the Store according to relevant guidelines and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
* Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities.
* Maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all Store Associates and Customers.
* Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.
YOUR TALENT
* One to two years of management experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear) with a results-driven track record.
* Proven ability to exceed sales goals (experience in commission-based roles is a plus), demonstrate high levels of customer service, reason through complex issues, communicate effectively, and present information to groups.
* Physical ability to walk and move about frequently, including standing, reaching, bending, twisting, balancing, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and sitting to assist customers. Ability to push/pull equipment and lift/carry boxes up to 30 pounds, sometimes at heights up to 131 inches using a ladder.
* Use of ladder/step stool equipment and maintaining organization and cleanliness of sales and stock areas are required. Environmental factors include operation of foot controls for mobile stock shelving and exposure to heights.
* Critical senses include speaking, hearing, near & far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
* Cognitive skills include reading comprehension, basic math, writing, complex problem solving, and basic computer skills.
