What's involved with this role: Interim Solicitor – Legal Services/Childcare Job Ref: N Lincolnshire 5247964 Pay Rate: Up to £45.00 per hour PAYE depending on experience Hours per week: 37.00 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire Hybrid working We are looking for an experienced and energetic team member to assist us with a caseload incorporating all work areas across the childcare sector; public law, private law, adoption, PLO. Candidates must be able to conduct their own advocacy at all levels of Court and may be required to attend Court in the local area. Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor / Barrister. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation. Children Act Proceedings experience. Ability in detailing with complex legal matters. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to work creatively and flexibly. Good negotiation and influencing skills. Good analytical and legal research skills.
