Town Centre Liaison Officer

About the role:
The Town Centre Liaison Officer role within the Economy Team will assist the development, delivery and monitoring of economic development projects and services within Powys Town Centres.
The post works across the County and provides efficient and effective support services to the Regeneration Team
About you:
• Experience in supporting the delivery and monitoring of projects or programmes.
• The ability to set priorities and manage the progress of your own work and competing demands including time pressures and deadlines.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• An understanding of grant funding programme you are delivering against.
• Knowledge of financial processes and procedures in the public sector.
What you will do:
• Support the financial management, administration, and monitoring of budgets, projects, programmes, and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the progress of economic development projects activities in accordance with local, regional, and national timelines.
• Maintain and update a range of electronic/manual information systems and assist with the collation of any performance indicators and statistical returns.
• Deal efficiently and effectively with customer and stakeholder enquiries and prepare appropriate responses within required timescales.
• Support the organisation and administration of project meetings and events.
