Job Description
Companionship Services:
1. Offer companionship and conversation.
2. Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities (e.g., clothing selection, hobbies, crafts).
3. Accompany clients to appointments and social events (e.g., visiting friends or family, lunch, club meetings).
Home Help Services:
1. Perform light housekeeping tasks (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, washing and ironing, taking out rubbish, caring for houseplants).
2. Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and handle shopping.
3. Possess knowledge about good food safety and ability to cook healthy Italian meals from raw ingredients.
Personal Care:
1. Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Support continence care.
3. Understand the needs of individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer's.
4. Assist with morning and evening routines.
Skills and attributes include the ability to listen, communicate clearly, build relationships with clients and their families, respect for diverse backgrounds and beliefs, excellent time management, good hygiene, and reliability. The role requires obtaining an Enhanced Disclosure and having reliable transport or Class 1 business insurance if using your own vehicle.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Resident in the UK.
* All Right to Work documents available.
* No sponsorship available.
* Care experience preferred but not required.
