Our client is a well-established and trusted name in the electronic security sector, with a strong reputation for delivering tailored solutions to sensitive environments — particularly within Stadia and MOJ Prison sectors.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of national projects, they are seeking an experienced and electrically qualified Security Installation Engineer to join their team, based in the North West and covering sites across the UK.
Role Overview:
This is a field-based role focused on the installation of advanced electronic security systems, with an emphasis on high-security environments. The successful candidate will have experience working with CCTV (IP essential), Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems, along with a strong electrical background.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission a range of security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)
Work from wiring diagrams and layout drawings to ensure accurate installation
Carry out cable pulling, containment, terminations, and full commissioning
Collaborate with site teams and project managers to deliver high-standard installations
Ensure compliance with NSI, BS standards, and site-specific security protocols
Complete accurate records and handover documentation
Travel across the UK to work on varied and secure client sites Requirements:
Proven experience installing electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)
Strong knowledge of IP CCTV systems is essential
Electrical background (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
ECS Card (preferred)
CTC Clearance (desirable – must be willing and eligible to undergo vetting)
Willingness to travel and stay away when required
Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer:
