We are working in partnership with our client, a leading organisation within the Rail sector, to recruit a talented Power Project Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward‑thinking team delivering critical high voltage (HV) and traction power projects that ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable energy systems.
The Role
As a Power Project Engineer, you will:
* Lead and manage HV engineering projects (11kV and 22kV) from concept through to delivery.
* Prepare technical specifications, designs, and project documentation.
* Apply expertise across HV systems, LVAC networks, and DC traction systems.
* Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks, providing regular project updates.
About the Power Project Engineer
Our client is looking for someone who brings:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Chartered status desirable).
* Proven experience in delivering HV (11kV/22kV), LVAC, and DC traction system projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulations.
* Excellent project management and problem‑solving skills.
* The ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
