Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced A Level Psychology Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons to A Level learners, supporting their understanding of psychology theory and practice while helping them achieve excellent academic outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons to a diverse learner cohort.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum and awarding body standards.
* Assess and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, attendance, and learner progress.
* Support learners' academic and personal development, motivating them to reach their full potential.
* Keep up-to-date with developments in psychology education and A Level requirements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the college.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology.
* Experience teaching A Level Psychology or equivalent FE/secondary level teaching experience.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of A Level curriculum requirements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
* Commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
