With a team of 32 skilled professionals, we manufacture high-quality, technically engineered components for a range of sectors. Due to increasing workload and continued business growth, we are looking to expand our friendly, supportive team with a motivated Sales & Operations Administrator. This role plays an important part in helping our purchasing and finance functions operate efficiently while contributing to wider business process improvements. Role Overview This is a varied and fast-paced administrative role supporting both the sales/operations side of the business and the purchasing/finance team. You will be responsible for accurate processing of finance documentation, maintaining stock and purchasing records, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across the company. Its an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IT skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive attitude who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities : Process finance ledger entries and supplier/customer invoices accurately. Assist the purchasing team with raising purchase orders, coordinating supplier communication, and monitoring order progress. Support stock control activities, including updating stock records, checking stock levels, and maintaining accurate data in the system. Maintain and organise records, documents, and administrative files to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Support internal teams with general administrative duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation for finance, purchasing, and operational use. Work closely with colleagues across the business to support continuous process improvement initiatives. Provide administrative support to the sales and customer support teams when required. Required Skills & Experience : Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and business/ERP systems. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy across a variety of tasks. Previous experience in an administrative, finance admin, purchasing admin, or operations support role (manufacturing/engineering experience is an advantage but not essential). Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support different areas of the business.
