The Village Surgeries is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly Practice. We are based across two sites Croston and Eccleston.
The role will be for 4 sessions a week - Thursday and Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who is passionate about delivering high quality patient care and wishes to work within a collaborative environment.

Main duties of the job
* Provide high quality, patient centred primary care services to our patients.
* Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, to delivery safe, effective and compassionate care.
* Prescribe in accordance with current guidelines
* Completing referrals where necessary
* Maintain accurate clinical records
* Participate in Practice and Clinical meetings

Job responsibilities
The role is for 4 sessions, worked over Thursday and Friday. You will have morning and afternoon clinics, which will consist of face to face appointments, telephone appointments and home visits where required.
You may be on the rota to cover an on call day if there is annual leave booked. We are a total triage Practice.
* Assess, diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
* Prescribe medication appropriately and safely in accordance with national and local guidance.
* Refer patients to secondary care and other healthcare services where clinically indicated.
* Interpret lab reports, and other correspondence from other healthcare providers.
* Ensure clinical records are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications
* Qualified GP
* General Practitioner (certificate of completion of Training CCT)
* Full GMC registration
* National Performers List
* Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
* Experience with Emis
* Experience in General Practice

* Experience of working in primary care
* Knowledge of the contracts and understanding of General Practice
