KS2 Teaching Assistant – Skegness
Location: Skegness
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Are you passionate about supporting older primary pupils in their educational development?
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the Skegness area is looking for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of the classroom team, working alongside the class teacher to support pupils across a range of subjects. Key duties will include:
* Delivering targeted support in literacy and numeracy to individuals and small groups
* Encouraging pupils to become more independent, confident, and resilient in their learning
* Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive classroom atmosphere
* Preparing resources and contributing to displays, school trips, and other school-wide activities
* Offering regular feedback to the class teacher to support planning and track pupil progress
* Previous experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is desirable but not essential
* You should have experience working with children in a school, childcare, or youth setting
* A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and how to adapt support for different learning needs
* A positive, caring attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
