We are seeking a creative and inspiring Drama Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to spark students’ imagination and confidence through engaging drama lessons and performance work. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Drama Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan and assess in line with curriculum expectations and GCSE specifications.
* Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration.
* Lead or contribute to school productions, performances, and drama clubs.
* Encourage pupils to explore performance, theatre history, script work, improvisation, and stagecraft.
Ideal Drama Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching drama at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the performing arts.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Drama Teacher.
