Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Substance Use Nurse, you will:
* Run well-being clinics in the community, conducting full healthcare assessments.
* Perform Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations.
* Support the management of alcohol and opiate community detoxifications.
* Implement harm reduction and well-being interventions.
* Contribute to shaping service delivery and ensuring clinically excellent services.
Who We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you must be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. You will have access to resources like RCNi for revalidation, indemnity insurance, and ongoing support from our nurse manager and clinical lead.
We seek a nurse who is not only skilled but also genuinely enjoys engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your empathy, understanding, and patience will be key in making a positive impact.
