Overview
C is a funny and caring young boy who enjoys making videos on his tablet and drawing. He is looking for a Personal Assistant who will provide encouragement for him to go out and do activities he enjoys, such as swimming, going out for food or going to charity shops. C experienced a focal seizure in February which has knocked his confidence in public spaces, so he needs a patient assistant who can help him feel secure.
Responsibilities

* Monitor for signs of distress or seizure risk, respond calmly, and follow training provided for managing a focal seizure.
* Support C in staying safe in public spaces and prevent scenarios where he might run away or encounter potentially harmful situations.
* Supervise and provide a secure, supportive environment during sleepover shifts.
Qualifications
* Prior experience with special needs children and awareness of associated risks.
* Patient, reassuring, and able to make C feel secure.
* Understanding of seizure awareness and safety procedures as per provided training.
* Driving license is beneficial but not required.
* Respectful of C’s needs and allergies (note: C cannot have a pet in the home due to severe allergies).
Location & Schedule
C lives in the Milton (G22) area. Ideally, the PA would be willing to host C in their home for the duration of the shift.
Shift details: 24 hours every 2nd weekend, approximately Saturday 12:00 PM – Sunday 12:00 PM.
