About Us:

Based in Minworth, Birmingham, we are a fast-growing kitchen appliance distributor. Established in 1944, we supply and install kitchen appliances to all the major housebuilders.

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care Assistant to join our team.

You will be the first point of contact for clients and ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything and ensure that the operation of the contract runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

* As a Customer Services Advisor you will be handling complaints via phone and email, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
* Dealing with complaints and resolving problems/queries.
* You will build customer relationships and deal with warranties and term of sales queries.
* The Customer Services Advisor will be dealing with product malfunctions, handling product recalls and organising fitter site visits.
* Organising spare parts and courier deliveries.
* Keep Customer Portals up to date and ensure all SLA's are within timescales.

Ideally, you will have previously worked as Customer Services Advisor, Customer Services, Customer Support, Scheduler, Scheduling, Customer Agent, Customer Advisor.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

* Show general competence with and good knowledge base of computers, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and comprehensively
* Have a good telephone manner
* Identifying the issue or situation and finding a way to resolve it through a structured approach
* Be able to work well under pressure and within a team environment
* Have a positive attitude
* Have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
* Be a flexible, proactive problem solver

Working Days / Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 (40 Hours) including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Type: Full-time - 2 year fixed contract with the potential to become permanent.

The start date can vary as we are prepared to wait a notice period for the right candidate.

Salary: £25,396.80 p/year
