As a Senior Urban Designer, you’ll play a key role in delivering large-scale high and low density masterplans and public realm projects that prioritise sustainability, inclusivity, and design excellence.
Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior designers
* Oversee design delivery from concept to technical documentation
* Champion design quality, innovation, and sustainability
* Drive strategic communication with stakeholders and clients
* Lead contextual analysis and community engagement
* Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines
* Contribute to studio-wide strategic initiatives
Requirements
* 5+ years’ experience in a senior urban design role
* Strong portfolio of low and high-density housing projects
* Mastery of placemaking and urban design principles
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, GIS
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Understanding of UK building regulations and fire safety
* Professional degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture
* The right to live and work in the UK
