What you’ll be doing:
* Working closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.
* Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager present with full accountability for the shop.
* Collaborating with a team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.
* Managing people, including performance management, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
* Assisting other nearby stores when needed in our network of convenience stores.

* Experience in line management within a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team to do the same.
* Achievement of KPIs and other performance indicators.
* Ability to handle disciplinaries, performance issues, and employee relations.
* Leadership in operations, comfortable working independently in the absence of senior management.
