This role supports delivery of UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) Gold accreditation, helping to improve outcomes for babies and families, particularly in the early postnatal period and beyond.As part of our dynamic and friendly team, you will provide 1:1, group-based, and virtual infant feeding support across Family Hubs, clinics, and family homes. You will promote breastfeeding, responsive bottle feeding, and healthy infant nutrition in line with BFI Gold standards, and will role‑model compassionate, non‑judgemental communication and care.In addition to direct support, you will also:Contribute to the creation and development of high‑quality infant feeding resources, ensuring information is accessible, evidence‑based, and aligned with BFI Gold requirements.Support the planning and delivery of local and national campaigns such as Breastfeeding Celebration Week, Infant Feeding Awareness activities, and Family Hub engagement events.Work collaboratively with partners across the 0–19 service, Family Hubs, Maternity, and wider community networks.We are looking for someone with:Experience supporting families in a community or health settingStrong communication and teamwork skillsConfidence working with a level of autonomy (with support from the Community Specialist Infant Feeding Lead)A commitment to HCRG Care Group values and outstanding family‑centred practiceIf you are interested and would like to know more, please contact:Katie Wharton, Infant Feeding Lead katie.wharton@hcrgcaregroup.comDue to the travel required for this role, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.Interviews for all successful applicants will be held on 26th January 2026.About the CompanyWe change lives by transforming health and care.Established in 2006, we are one of the UK's leading independent providers of community health and care services, working with health and care commissioners and communities to transform services with a focus on experience, efficiency and improved outcomes.
