Job Title: Fabricator
Location: Hinkley Point C (HPC), Somerset
Job Purpose
To carry out fabrication activities safely and to the required quality standards in support of construction works at Hinkley Point C.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and assemble metal components in line with drawings and specifications.
* Mark out, cut, shape, and fit materials as required.
* Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication details.
* Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards.
* Carry out basic checks on tools and equipment before use.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area.
* Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
* Relevant fabrication or plating qualifications/experience.
* Previous site or construction experience preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Understanding of health & safety on site.
* Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
Desirable
* Experience on large infrastructure or industrial projects.
* Experience working in highly regulated environments.
