Ashgrove Group Practice are looking to welcome a part time administrator/receptionist to our team to cover 2-6pm, Monday to Friday. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic and flexible with experience in dealing with the public both face to face and via telephone. You should have excellent communication, time management, IT and customer care skills. We are looking for a team player who is able to prioritise their workload around the demands of the practice. Strong interpersonal and administrative skills are also desired.
Duties will include, but are not limited to
1. Dealing with patients at reception carefully, sensitively and confidentially
2. Making appointments
3. Result handling
4. Dealing with general enquiries
5. Prescription processing
6. General administrative tasks
This role is busy and varied and a high attention to detail is required as well as the ability to multitask and work under pressure as part of a team.
Experience working within General Practice or a similar setting is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
