About the role:
As part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for the delivery of all food and drinks service across the campus. This involves managing a team at high-profile events within our retail, hospitality, and restaurant businesses. The focus is on planning, presentation, and service excellence to ensure standards are met and operations continue to evolve technologically and operationally.
Responsibilities:
1. Foster strong relationships with venue clients through daily communication to ensure seamless operations.
2. Oversee the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services, maintaining exceptional standards.
3. Motivate and inspire team members, adapting to client and customer needs.
4. Promote CSR, sustainability, equality, and diversity initiatives.
5. Manage ordering processes, delivery schedules, and venue readiness for events.
6. Maximize sales and control costs by driving spend per head (SPH) and minimizing wastage.
7. Support recruitment, training, and performance management to build an motivated and inclusive team.
8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and profit protection standards.
Candidate requirements:
* Experience overseeing the delivery of high-quality food and drink products.
* Willingness to work some unsociable hours, including late shifts and weekends.
* Ability to motivate and inspire both yourself and the team.
* Maintain top-tier quality standards and adapt to client needs.
* Support timely ordering processes and ensure catering areas are presentable and ready for operations.
* Maximize sales and control production and wastage.
* Manage labour scheduling, spending, and forecasting with HR support.
* Continuously improve service, product offerings, and operational procedures.
