The Role
Lead Practitioner of Design and Technology
* Lead the strategic development of the Design and Technology curriculum
* Drive outstanding teaching and learning across all key stages
* Coach, mentor and inspire colleagues, modelling exceptional classroom practice
* Deliver high‑quality CPD, supporting whole‑school improvement
* Work with the teaching and learning team to embed evidence‑informed practice
* Ensure that all students, regardless of background, achieve highly in Design and Technology
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background
* Demonstrate outstanding subject knowledge and classroom practice
* Have a proven track record of raising attainment
* Be committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all
* Be an excellent communicator and team player
* Bring integrity, energy, resilience and a strong moral purpose
