An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a nationwide automotive dealer group located in Newport. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative. Benefits: The pay scale on offer is between £24-36,000, starting basic salary pending franchise qualifications. In addition to the basic wage, you have access to an uncapped bonus scheme worth circa £3,600 per annum. All overtime, including the contracted Saturday morning on a rota, is paid at time and a half. 22 days annual holiday allowance plus the 8 bank holidays and your birthday off each year! Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm paid as overtime. Duties include but are not limited to: Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles MOT Testing Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults. Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards Requirements: A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence Dedicated and committed approach.
