A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a lady in my mid 50’s living with my parents in St Athan. I have my own space in the house as my parents want me to be as independent as possible. I have epilepsy and have daily seizures and I have very little communication, but I am able to communicate my needs. I am very happy and easy-going and just like to play as I am very childlike.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide me with support for my daily morning and bedtime routine.
HOURS OF WORK
There are 21 hours per week. Also, the ability to cover annual leave and sickness of my other PAs.
Wednesday 9:00-21:00
Friday 9:00-18:00
RATES OF PAY
£12.95 per hour
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
* Playing with me
* Helping with personal care (washing and toileting)
* Ensuring I take my medication
* Helping with dressing
* Preparing breakfast
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
* Reliable and able to cover additional hours if needed
* Bubbly and friendly
* Engaging and chatty
* Experience not essential; initial support from my parents will help you settle into the role
* Able to drive and access to own vehicle
