Required for September 2026 a Teacher of Welsh, the successful candidate will play a key role in securing strong learner progress and positive examination outcomes through high‑quality teaching, effective curriculum planning and robust assessment practices.
You will be expected to teach Welsh across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a clear focus on raising standards and improving attainment. You will also apply your experience and subject expertise to contribute to the delivery of alternative Welsh courses, ensuring that all learners can access suitable pathways and achieve meaningful qualifications.
In addition, you will play an active role in promoting the Welsh language across the school, contributing to the development of Welsh culture, and supporting initiatives that strengthen learners’ sense of belonging and Welsh identity.
