Position Overview
The Department of Management Science seeks to appoint a part‑time Teaching Fellow in Project Management (PM) on a 0.6 FTE basis. The department runs a full‑time MSc programme in PM and delivers several PM‑related undergraduate modules. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to these teaching activities within a research‑intensive Management School.
Responsibilities
* Deliver part or all of several PM‑related modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
* Set and mark assessment tasks
* Work with other members of the department to periodically review programmes and modules and discuss possible improvements
Qualifications
* Hold an academic and/or professional qualification in PM or a related discipline (e.g., Operations Management, Production Management, or Industrial Engineering)
* Have some teaching experience in the Further Education and/or Higher Education sectors
Terms and Compensation
The role is offered for an initial term of 14 months, although this may be renewed. The position will be appointed at either grade 7 (currently £40 000‑£46 000) or grade 8 (currently £47 000‑£58 000), depending on qualifications and experience.
