Location: Farnborough
Rate: Up to 550/day
Outside IR35
Industry: Secure technology / cloud infrastructure
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and enhancing a private cloud platform built on VMware Cloud Foundation.
* Turning business and technical requirements into scalable, well-structured VCF architectures.
* Planning capacity and producing compliant designs across compute, storage, networking, and edge components.
* Supporting and improving high-security virtualised environments used for collaboration and development.
* Standing up VCF deployments and driving automation across the platform.
* Integrating platform services and maintaining clear templates and operating procedures for wider teams.
Main Skills Needed
* Strong infrastructure or platform engineering experience, ideally with VCF exposure.
* Good understanding of data‑centric security concepts.
* Solid grounding across networking, storage, operating systems, monitoring and logging.
* Bonus: knowledge of MOD environments, systems, or assurance processes.
