Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to be rewarded for you combined Mechanical and Electrical skillset?
VANRATH are recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an Engineering team in delivering planned preventative, predictive maintenance and breakdown response in a Food Production environment.

40hr Work Week
Rotating Shifts
Week 1: Earlies 5:00am to 1:30pm
Week 2: Lates 12:00pm to 8:30pm
Client
Our client is an established name in the UK's Food Production industry. With multiple sites around the UK, including state of the art production facilities, they employ thousands of staff with the central focus of providing the nation with authentic, ethically sourced and sustainably produced food of the highest possible quality.
Main Responsibilities
5. To work across both mechanical and electrical trades as qualified and authorised.
6. Ensure all engineering work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Health and Safety Legislation and current Company Standards.
7. Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant, machinery and site services
8. Planned maintenance, modifications, installations and upgrades to plant machinery and site services.
9. To utilise the CMMS fully and assist in its development to achieve 'World Class' asset performance.
10. To deal directly with suppliers on machine or plant issues.
11. Upkeep and alteration of electrical and mechanical drawings as needed.
12. To work as part of a team with operations to improve site production
processes and plant design to minimize downtime and improve safety and
quality.
13. To undertake training and up-skilling programs as directed by business
needs and to keep abreast of technological advancements.
The Ideal Person:
14. 1+ Year Experience in areas of Electrical and Mechanical machine maintenance
15. Third level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
16. Flexibility to work rotational shifts
