Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)
kolt recruitment are looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) for a leading accident repair centre based in Borehamwood. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a busy and professional bodyshop operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess damaged vehicles and identify repair requirements
* Prepare accurate repair estimates using Audatex
* Liaise with insurance companies and customers
* Monitor repairs throughout the process and update where required
* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and insurance standards
* Work closely with the workshop team to ensure smooth turnaround times
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within an accident repair centre
* Audatex experience is essential
* Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and processes
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* ATA qualification would be advantageous
* Full UK driving licence
