Buying Admin Assistant
Due to our continued growth House of Bruar are looking for a talented individual to join our friendly and professional team as an Admin Assistant. This role is office based, no remote working is available.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident person to join our team as an admin assistant in our office team. This position requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role is an admin position so no buying experience is expected, however it will require someone that has good knowledge of Excel or other database programmes and the ability to learn quickly.
Duties
· Updating our in-house stock system & supplier/product information
· Understanding costings and calculating margins
· General administration tasks including photocopying, letters and filing
· Liaising with suppliers, placing orders, general supplier queries and passing on relevant information to the buyers
· Support during the buying seasons with preparation for tradeshows and buying meetings
· Liaising with the Warehouse & Shop floor teams, managing stock levels & dealing with queries in a time efficient manner
· Supporting the Country Living Department with procurement, visual merchandising and creation of point of sale and stock management
Skills
· Competent in using Microsoft applications – in particular Excel.
· Excellent communication skills
· A conscientious, attitude with the ability to work in a reactive role with excellent time management skills
· Attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and multi-task where appropriate
· Retail experience is preferable, but not essential
