MINT is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Employment Job Coach with an opportunity of working as a Sessional Lecturer to join our longstanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an inclusive learning environment, supporting young people and adults with additional needs and/or disabilities, or those facing significant barriers to work, to access and sustain meaningful employment. We are also expanding our delivery of Work Skills, Employability Skills and Pre-employment projects. This role will contribute to the development and delivery of these sessions. What you’ll do: Deliver 1:1 tailored job coaching to meet individual needs.Provide workplace support and guidance to promote success.Build strong relationships with employers and learners.Promote independence and inclusion in employment settings.Monitor progress and celebrate success stories.Deliver Works Skills, Employability Skills and Pre-employment workshops and group sessions.Opportunity to gain sessional teaching experience as part of the role (paid at an additional sessional hourly rate)Work across multiple sites: Norwich, Easton & Paston, and travel to employers’ places of business.Occasional unsociable hours may be required to meet learner and employer needs. What we’re looking for:A proactive, empathetic individual with excellent communication skills.Experience in employment support or working with individuals with additional needs and/or disabilities (desirable but not essential).TSI (Systematic Instruction Training) would be beneficial, but if you don’t have this, this could be offered in the future.
