Are you an experienced senior support worker or deputy manager who is looking for a new direction? Then become a highly valued Children's Home Deputy Manager with Esland, and start a truly rewarding career!

Hours: full time, initially to cover maternity leave (but will then be permanent in a new service in the area)

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay rate: £36,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on level of diploma held)

We are looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable Deputy Manager to join our dedicated and highly valued Assessments Team.

Our Burton-Upon-Trent home delivers short term, therapeutic intervention and trauma support for 7 to 18 year olds.
Our assessment homes offer young people security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment over 12 weeks.

Every placement provides access to education and the opportunity to participate in an outdoor adventure programme.

This is the perfect role for a an experienced deputy manager that wants to grow with a supportive company, or a senior support worker who wants to take the next step!

1. A minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential care home (within the last 5 years)
2. At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
3. Level 3 Diploma (or above) in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
4. Thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation and Quality Standards
5. Excellent communication and team leader skills.
6. A full, UK driving licence issued in the UK
7. Right to work in the UK with no restrictions
8. Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations
9. A keen interest in the outdoors is essential, activities experience/qualifications are desirable.
