The Skipton Hotel is seeking a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join our dedicated kitchen team. Located in the heart of Skipton, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, freshly prepared dishes and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for running a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain consistency, efficiency, and creativity across all menus.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing your own section during service
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
* Assisting in menu development and daily specials
* Maintaining food hygiene and health & safety standards
* Monitoring stock levels and minimising waste
* Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen
* Strong knowledge of fresh food preparation
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* A positive attitude and genuine passion for food
* Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (preferred)
