Role Overview
One of our clients are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to support a live National Grid (NG) substation project. This is a key role within a high-profile energy infrastructure programme, requiring a proactive planner with a strong background in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
* Interface with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate planning and forecasting.
* Identify and mitigate potential delays and risks.
* Support reporting and governance requirements for the client and National Grid.
* Attend site approximately 3 times per week to liaise with the delivery team and ensure alignment with the programme.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner on infrastructure or energy projects.
* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
* National Grid (NG) project experience is highly desirable.
* Background in energy or utilities is essential.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
