Clareville Dental Practice is pleased to invite applications for a Practice Co-ordinator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key operational and leadership role within a friendly, forward-thinking dental practice during a period of growth and development.
This is a hands-on position supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, with a strong focus on patient experience, staff leadership, diary optimisation, practice growth, and regulatory compliance across both NHS and Private services. The role includes working on reception as part of the wider team and offers structured support and development in management, compliance, and leadership.
About the Role
The Practice Co-ordinator will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and overseeing daily practice operations to ensure a calm, organised, and patient-focused environment
* Providing professional leadership and management to the practice team, promoting clear communication, consistency, and high standards
* Managing and optimising appointment diaries to maximise clinician utilisation, patient flow, and capacity
* Making effective use of SOE practice management systems, including recalls, debt management, credit reporting, and workflows to support efficiency and financial control
* Maintaining a strong focus on patient experience across NHS and Private services
* Working collaboratively with senior management, with structured support to develop within the role
* Supporting patient growth, retention, and service development
* Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, referrers, and community partners
* Leading and supporting local engagement initiatives, events, and partnership opportunities aligned with the practice brand
* Ensuring understanding and compliance with CQC and NHS regulatory requirements (training and support provided)
* Proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, patient journey, diary efficiency, and compliance
* Confidently presenting ideas, making recommendations, and taking ownership of agreed actions
* Supporting audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
This role requires a professional leadership mindset, developing commercial awareness, and the confidence to represent the practice both internally and externally, with full support to grow into all aspects of the position.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience in dental administration, reception, coordination, or practice management (dental setting preferred)
* Demonstrates strong organisation, diary management, and patient service skills
* Is confident communicating with patients, colleagues, and external partners
* Is willing to develop knowledge of CQC standards, NHS contractual expectations, and regulatory compliance
* Is proactive, organised, and comfortable taking responsibility
* Shows leadership potential and a growth-focused mindset
* Is enthusiastic about contributing to practice development and patient experience
