Host/Hostess - The Trafalgar St. JameS Part of Crimson Hotels, The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton is a 5 Star hotel with 131 bedrooms including 3 signature suites, and a number of venues consisting of our unique Rooftop Bar and Rockwell Restaurant and Bar that pride themselves in the quality of food and drink service that they provide. The Role Trafalgar St. James is looking for a high-spirited and organized individual to join our team as a Host or Hostess. The Host / Hostess will be the first point of contact for our guests, responding to all queries in a timely and professional manner in person, by telephone, and by email. As a Host / Hostess you will also - but not be limited to: Warmly welcoming and seating arriving guests, ensuring their exceptional experience throughout their visit. Collaborating seamlessly with team members to facilitate swift and efficient communication and service. Reporting and promptly addressing any comments, VIP arrivals, or departures as they unfold. Handling guest feedback efficiently and communicating it to the Manager or the Shift Supervisor. Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and services, seizing opportunities for upselling and promotion when appropriate. The Candidate must be flexible to work all shifts. The Ideal Candidate This position calls for individuals with strong communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and the determination to excel, both as part of a team and independently, depending on business needs. You're at ease interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and consistently produce high-quality work. While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, we place a higher emphasis on your attitude, interpersonal skills, and commitment.
