What you'll be doing
You'll be the glue between accounts, ops, and sales. A mix of day-to-day financial management and process oversight:

Overseeing VAT returns
*
Handling invoicing, credit notes, payroll & pensions
*
Month-end close and cashflow/margin reporting
*
Liaising with external accountants, HMRC, and internal teams
*
Supporting customer and supplier accounts
*
Assisting with stock takes, Sage data entry and reporting
*
Helping train others in the team and stepping in when needed
What you'll need
*
Experienced in Accounts
*
Confident in Excel and essential: experience using Sage 200
*
Hands-on experience in SMEs where you've had to juggle tasks and work cross-functionally
*
The ability to spot issues before they become problems, and explain them without jargon
*
Comfortable working with everyone - from customers to directors
