As a Structural Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering structural engineering design and project management support across a diverse range of projects. You'll work closely with internal design teams and external stakeholders to provide efficient, safe, and innovative structural solutions from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
* Undertake structural design calculations and prepare drawings, specifications, and technical reports
* Deliver detailed designs for steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in line with current design codes and standards
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, architectural, and MEP engineers to ensure cohesive project delivery
* Manage project deliverables, budgets, and timelines, ensuring high-quality outputs
* Attend design and site meetings, providing input during all project stages including feasibility, detailed design, and construction
* Support junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
* Promote best practice in sustainability, digital engineering, and health and safety
About You
* Degree‑qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng)
* Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) or working towards chartership
* Strong technical capability with experience in design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, or similar
* Knowledge of UK and Eurocode design standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, organised, and committed to high standards of work
