We are lookingfor band 5 staff Nurses to join our amazing team. In liaison with the LeadNurse, nursing and multidisciplinaryteam you will support us to work together, to ensure the delivery of high-quality,nursing and family integrated care.

It is essentialthat you are a RN or RSCN, with a keen interest to work towards the Qualificationin Specialty, Intensive Care of the New born.

Itis required that you have an approachable manner and positive attitude whilstbeing committed to providing high quality care to the infants and familiesaccessing our services


Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has a passion for neonatalcare. You must be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, andindividually, to implement care planning for your patients. You will besupported to advocate for your patients, ensuring high standards of care aremaintained, whilst also encouraging parents to be partners in care. You will administermedication as per the BNF, and NMC code of conduct. Adhering to trust policiesand procedures is essential.

Person Specification

Qualifications

* RGN with neonatal or critical care experience,
* RN Child,
* Evidence of ongoing professional education
* Teaching and Assessing qualification,
* Willingness to undertake the Neonatal Qualification Post Registration Course.
* Willingness to undertake the Examination of the Newborn Course.


Knowledge and Awareness

* Quality, audit and its application,
* Current healthcare issues,
* Clinical Governance,
* Statutory and professional requirements,
* Health and Safety,
* Confidentiality,
* Awareness of Health and Safety issues.
