Experience required
* Essential:
o UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client
o Good knowledge and application of the DMRB, Eurocodes and other relevant technical standards for the design of various highway structures and bridges
o Experience of industry standard analysis software
o Experience in the development and design of bridge and highway structures projects including inspection & assessment, strengthening, maintenance, replacement, detailed design
o Good understanding of the CDM regulations and knowledge of the NEC forms of contract
o Experience in producing and managing scheme deliverables including PCI packs, BoQs, scheme specifications using the MCHW and health and safety files
o Open to supporting and guiding junior engineers / technicians where required
o HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline
o A full UK driving license is essential
* Desirable:
o Good command of AutoCAD would be advantageous
o Work towards professional qualification (IEng / CEng) with the ICE / IStructE or similar
