The Exciting Role
Lancashire Adult Learning are looking for a talented and student focused Community Teacher in Digital Skills. We are looking to recruit suitably qualified experienced teacher to join our enthusiastic team on a part time basis.
We are particularly keen to hear from people who are passionate about digital inclusion and who can teach Digital Skills using a range of digital devices including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults in a community role. You will be delivering inspiring and exciting adult programmes in community venues across Lancashire focused on reducing digital exclusion and helping adults gain valuable digital skills for life and work. The ideal candidate will focus on embracing the college ethos that every learner will achieve their full potential and positively always represent the college both internally and externally.
This role will be based at our Lancashire Adult Learning site, however, travel across Lancashire will be required.
What You Will Be Doing
Teach on a range of programmes delivering effective learning
Plan and prepare high quality teaching and learning
Develop and share resources with the team
Ensure provision is aligned with best practice in community learning
Prepare learners for accreditation, where appropriate
Complete reviews of learner progress towards achievement of individual learning goals
What We Are Looking For
Successful teaching experience in a relevant ICT subject area
Degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification
Knowledge of and proven ability to deliver the curriculum successfully
Demonstrate a learner centred approach to teaching and learning
Recognised teaching qualification
