Bradbury House is a "Outstanding" rated care home, providing support and care for 24 adults with physical disabilities. The role is offered on a Bank basis, allowing for flexible working hours to provide cover for annual leave or sick leave. This is an occasional role, and the hours and days you work will vary. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our residents with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes. You will also act as an escort, accompanying residents to external events and appointments. Your main goal will be to promote independence and help our residents achieve their individual aspirations. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a flexible and creative approach, and the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team. Previous experience in personal care is desirable but not essential, as we provide an excellent training and induction programme for all employees.
